I was Crocheting

for a special little girl :) I wanted to make something homemade for Charley and people seemed to have blankets and stuff all taken care of so I decided for her christening I would make her something special, a nice set of booties and a cape for her to wear at her christening (if her mother so chose) :):)
I started in plenty of time but underestimated how long it would take to put the ruffles on it so was finishing last minute as usual. Im so lame.

This is the cape full length it's about 2 feet long I suppose plus the hood. It could handle a lot of ribbon :)

The bottom edge with it's little ribbon bows

Little ruffled hood and neck tie :)

The matching booties that the kids thought looked an awful lot like cow boy boots so we called them Charley's cow boy Booties :)

And the shiny babe in her cape and booties just after she has been baptised and was being introduced to the church community.

She was a total angel and I love that she loves her gift. This little angel is my Goddaughter now, and I cannot wait to be a part of her life while she grows up :)
