Around the beginning of October, the greats came and picked up the kids and off they went for the afternoon! I was Free! FREE! So I went off with Leanne and didnt come back til the kids did! LOL
they waited in line to get up the ski lift for about 1/2 hour I think...

That is a seriously awesome hiking experience, IMHO!! I would totally be up for that. Good idea for the ski hill too since snow is so crappy in NS nowadays for good skiing in the winter and cuts into their ski income. Excellent diversification.
AHEM>..as I recall I am a great and nowhere NEAR grandparent-hood.
Darn it but I wish we had fall here in good old southern California! We're lucky if we having falling leaves; we definitely don't have changing ones! *Large sigh*
